After School Care

The purpose of the After School Care (ASC) program is to provide childcare for working parents who are unable to pick-up  their children by 3:30 p.m.  Parents/guardians must register their child for ASC to use the service.

The children are served a snack each day.  The hours are from 3:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on days when school is in session.  When picking up your child, it is extremely important that you sign him/her out.  Only designated persons on the after  school care registration form may pick up children.  You may be asked for photo identification.  There is a $1.00 per minute charge for children who are not picked up by 5:45 p.m.  The school clock determines this time.

If someone other than the persons listed on the registration form will be picking up your student, parents should call the  school office before 3:00 P.M. or after school care after 3:30 P.M.   Continued participation in the program  requires appropriate behavior, a cooperative/respectful attitude toward employees, other students, and all property.  The tornado shelter during after school care is in the church basement.  After School Care is held in the cafeteria, and on occasion is moved to the 4th grade classroom.
